Homework connection

Hi.

We are testing this scada system.
It's really nice.
We have made an application with 20 tags, and we want to have access to it from an external network through the vpn solution, is it possible?
When we try to connect using the get from workstation option and setting the ip for vpn we get an unavailable workstation message.

Someone knows how we can connect

regards

It's great to hear you are enjoying the software.

Networking through a VPN is a very common way to connect VTScada servers and clients. For this to work, each computer will have to be able to 'see' the other on the network. The easiest way to do this is typically to have the same users on each computer. You can test this by going to windows explorer and typing Network in the address field. If you can see the other computer, you should be good to connect them. Note that before doing the get from workstation, it is a good idea to add one of the computers as the primary server in the application configuration, then will ensure that values and settings are synced between the computers.
