In a case of a redundant server system, only the primary server will poll the I/O. The VTScada - VTScada sync service will distribute the read values to each of the redundant servers.

If the current polling server goes offline for any reason, only the next server in the cue will take over polling the I/O and will synchronize the data to the backup servers for storage and any connected clients for viewing.
