What are the recommendations for configuring RAID?

Hi,Support
In order for VTScada to store data for 2 or 3 years, I need to expand the capacity of user's computer's hard drive, and I need to use RAID,
We will provide 3 ways: RAID0 or RAID1 or RAID10,
Allow users to choose one of the three RAID modes,

Can these three RAID modes store VTScada historical data normally?

Thank you

Hi Jerry,
Your question has led us to expand our https://www.vtscada.com/scada-system-requirements/.

The short answer is that VTScada supports all RAID modes. Each mode has its own pros and cons with regards to reading and writing but that makes no difference to VTScada. May I ask what the reason is that you must use RAID?

Hi,Admin
Thank you for your reply;
There are two reasons for this:

1、Customers need to keep data for about 4 years,We want the SSD to be bigger, So we'll be using an 8T SSD, We recommend using RAID0;
so consider using RAID;
2、The customer's VTScada does not use redundant schemes,So it is possible for him to use RAID10 to back up the data in the SSD。This is what the customer thinks。Although we do not recommend this for customers, redundancy is recommended。
