Is there a way to send unacknowledged or new alarm status back to a PLC bit?

You can use the Alarm Status Tag to look for an active alarm, link that to a Digital Control Tag via the Data Source field of the Digital Control Tag. In the Address field of the Digital Control Tag write to the PLC and append the address with a data suffix to write to a specific bit.
