I am currently trying to set up SNMP between a Lantronix switch and VTScada. I downloaded the MIB file direct from the Lantronix website, but whenever I try to import the file into VTScada I get the error shown in the attached image below. I was able to successfully load the MIB into iReasoning without any problems and also had Lantronix Support double check the MIB file for possible errors.

The one thing I noticed between this MIB file and others is that this file downloaded as a ".txt" file type and not a ".mib". However, when I looked into that as a possible issue, it seems it does not matter the extension type. Maybe that is wrong information?

Anyway, just wanted to hear y'alls thoughts on what the issue could be. Thanks!

The file extension isn't important but the content is. Unfortunately, the quality of mib files varies a lot and some are just broken leading to import failures.

Can you share a link to the vendor's mib file so we can have a look at it?
