Need help for vtscada configuration selection

Hi,

I want to use vtscada for a project for the first time.
There is 150 individual machines(workstation). Where we need install vtscada on each machine. Each machine would have around 50 tags. And need 1 server at control room where all the machines can be access. Beside that need remote access 1 user, alarm notification SMS EMAIL. Big Remote screen at plant floor.

Please help to select right configuration.

Thanks

If you havn't already - I'd recommend https://www.vtscada.com/contact-us/ and finding your local sales person - they'll sort you out.

It depends on your network topology and if you expect each machine to act as a client or a server.

If all machines are on the same network and are each acting as a client - this could accomplished by developing and running a single application on your main server. You would then run the client installation on each machine. You would have to purchase a license that allows for minimum 150 thin clients(unlimited would likely be what you purchase) if they are to all be running at the same time. From there you could set up area/realm filtering to only allow certain tags to be visible on each machine if you are needing that. There are help files on how to set this up.

If you are expecting each machine to be redundant and act as a server you would have to purchase a runtime license and fully install VTScada for every machine. Development of this application and its server list would be more intensive.
