Trouble Connecting to Siemen's S7-1500

Having issues connecting to Siemens S7-1500 series PLC's using the Siemen's driver. I have an Allen Bradley unit that is working so I know my network and server is working. 5ccc68deb73a8

Any help or examples or templates would be helpful. I am a PLC specialist looking at purchasing a entire system but want to get a real-world example to get approval to buy.

Have you enabled Connection mechanisms option for remote partner on the PLC?

The 259 in the IP address means that VTscada is unable to get a connection to the IP and/or port. Can you actually ping that IP? Or telnet to theta IP and port?

I just connected to an S7-300 via TCP/IP and a TCP 343-1 processor. Below are the tags I used for this.

Nothing looks too different from what you have. A 259 Error suggests that the Port has not established any connection to the device. I suspect the 262 error is the same as the DNP3 error which indicates there is no communications channel available.

My Recommendation is to update your IP address to remove the leading zeros. Therefore: 010.007.002.121 -> 10.7.2.121

You have to be careful using full ip's with leading zeros. If you ping 010.xxx.xxx.xxx, you will probably see it fail with the ping address change to 8.xxx.xxx.xxx.

The octet is actually converted to an octal value.
