You should just need to add a new port tag and update the Modbus driver tag to suit. All of the I/O tags will link to the driver and should work just fine.
If you have made the driver a child of your existing port tag, you can always just make a new port tag, make a new child tag as a dummy (a calculation tag is a good one for a placeholder) then copy and paste your driver tag (with the children) into the correct place in the tree for your new port tag.
Does this make sense?
