I am looking for some direction on creating a Data Grid in VTSCADA
that can poll from the historian.
There is an example in the Oil & Gas Suite for the flow computer history.

Any help would be appreciated

I don't think there is a practical way to build something exactly like this in VTScada.

You can use the HDV widget in grid view to sort of do it, but it's limited in how it will displays the data, limited in your start/stop time.

You could in theory build a screen that is essentially just links to a wide variety of tags that are dynamically calculated based on certain parameters, but a screen with around 300+ elements in Idea Studio will grind a high-end desktop computer to its knees.

A table widget like Ignition has is something that would be very, very valuable.

The example image is from VTScada, so it's certainly possible. But, you would want to have a certain level of experience with the scripting language before tackling this one.

Best move is to contact support or your marketing rep. directly to ask for a feature request as Michael suggests. The more names attached to an item, the higher it moves in the queue. These forums are not the right place to do that.
