I would like to add a button to spawn an external program.

Is this supported in the Lite version?

Generally, how does one find widgets -- is there a search, or do you just have know where they are?

Yes it is included in the VTScadaLight version.

The easiest way to find widgets is to check the related help article. For example, at the bottom of the Program Spawn Widget, you'll find:

Widget Folders:
Basic Components\Specialty\Misc\
Tools\Standard Library\

You could also search the Widgets menuitems folder in the Tag Browser, but the documentation is easier.
