I've been playing around with VTScadaLight for a few days now, wanting to learn more and more about VTScada. I can not seem to find where PMC1001 originates from ? I know it's a serial connection, a child of the Local TCP Port. I am hoping someone knows where to find PMC1001

PMC1001 is a basic data simulator that is part of the tutorial application. You can find the file only exists as a special addition to the tutorial if you look in the VTScada directory ( "C:\VTScada\TutorialSimulator\PMC1001.SRC" ). If you want to add this as a special addition to other applications, it's probably to use the simulator app as the OEM layer for your new application. You can always copy PMC1001.src to other applications but you'll also need to modify AppRoot.SRC file to add PMC1001 as a custom module in the points section. After adding and updating the files, you would have to hit the import file changes button in the VAM (Like I said, probably easier to just make a new application and point to the tutorial application as the OEM layer )

@ArghDave That's really cool, I spent some time searching through the VTScada directory. I just never found PMC1001, as I was imagining it to be an actual driver somewhere. I appreciate the help. The next time I'll dig through the directory a bit more.
