VTScada Anywhere Client Lagging

I wanted to reach out to others to see if they have been having similar issues. I'm located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama at the Hilliard Fletcher Wastewater Treatment Plant. I've got a few different ways to access VTScada, but the one way that has been giving us all fits has been accessing VTScada through the Anywhere Client. Our plant operators access VTScada through Anywhere Client. I can access through mRemoteNG, Anywhere Client, and Internet Client. We have all had issues with lagging. What do i mean by lagging ? When you go to closing a popup it will lag in closing. I press the x button to exit the popup and it takes a lot longer than it should to close the popup window. I'm not sure if it's a network issue with the City of Tuscaloosa and all the different ways we access VTScada or if it's an issue with VTScada itself.

Hi Joseph,

I'm the VTScada Regional Account Manager for AL - nice to meet you! Have you experienced the same issues when using a local machine on the network? The VIC may be more successful in preventing the lag in this case.

I have had some successes in using VIC. However, our operators and mainly everyone else has used anywhere client to access SCADA. To my knowledge, the only two people I know of using VIC have been myself and another employee on the water side using VIC. However, I could be wrong about that. After discussing the issues with EMC - it was determined that the SSDs, we store our historical data on, was full potentially creating an issue with the lag we were all experiencing. I have not been able to determine if the issue has been fixed. As I have not logged into SCADA this morning.
