Micro 800s? Modbus

You will not be able to pull in data inside objects as Rockwell does not expose those, they have to be mapped to modbus points.

Technically it can be done via CIP but it is not efficient (They use a different version of the protocol than they do in the higher priced PLC's) and the included CIP driver will not work with the 800 series PLC's.

VTScada's new Rockwell driver is coming out soon so look for that as it may have some built-in options for connecting to the Micro 800's.

@Michael is correct that, today, it is best to use Modbus.
