Sending data from Meshlium to SCADA Software

Hi

I need to integrate Waspmote wireless sensors to an industrial control system.

We have purchased two waspmotes and a meshlium gateway. I have got the data from the waspmotes into the meshlium and can access the database within the meshlium from a MySQL client.

What I need to do is get the data from the meshlium into another piece of software that will run on an industrial HMI. Initially I was going to get the software to connect to the database in meshlium to access the records, but unfortunately this is not supported by the software.

The software can access data via OPC (OLE for Process Control). Have you any ideas about creating an OPC Server application on the meshlium unit, or do you have any other recommendations.

Thanks

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.

If the devices are inside your LAN/WAN, you may want to look into connecting to them directly via Modbus TCP/IP or another protocol. I'm not sure about the Waspmote sensors but this is a very common way to connect to wireless industrial sensors. If you are pushing the data to a cloud via the Meshlium gateway and can only get it from the cloud server, then it looks like you may need to use SQL to retrieve the data. You can find more on using the VTScada SQL Driver here: https://www.trihedral.com/help/Content/D_Tags/D_SQLDataQueryDriver.htm

If none of the above options will work for you, please contact me at David.Spencer@Trihedral.com.
