I think it should be more than fine. The only thing is that a 256 GB drive is not going to leave a whole lot of room for data storage depending on how fast you are scanning/polling tags and what the dead bands are set at.

I would at least keep an eye on that. Use Workstation Status tags to monitor the drive space and alarm when it gets 3/4 full.
