Tank cut-away images are designed to work with the Color Fill widget. Place a cut-away on a tank and then set the color of that cut-away to something that will be unique on the page. Orange is a great choice. Now, place a Color Fill widget on top of the cut-away and set its Changed Color to match the color of the cut-away.
The Color Fill will be visible only where it overlaps the matching co

Does VTScadaLIGHT support the Anywhere Internet Client?
The mobile client seems to work fine in a browser, but when I log into the AIC throw a web browser all I see is a white page. A logon failed notification gets logged to the System Event DB even though I know I'm using the correct credentials.
A customer asked: Can operators be barred from shutting down a VTScada application?
Afternoon All;
I am trying to poll a Modbus flow meter. The register I am polling is a floating point, and at this time just looking to get a proper HEX response. Below is a couple of request and response. The request is correct as I have tested with a Mdbus master modbus simulator. It is looking to me that there is a inter-character time out issue. But any thoughts, questions or solutions wou

Is there a way to read a 32 bit modbus value directly into a 32 bit value in VTSCADA? This way we will not need to read a 32 bit value as 2 single 16 bit values and then combine it.

Are there any plans to allow tags names to be modified from the tag window instead of forcing us to browse for them?
This is a question that comes up more and more so our own Dave Spencer created this quick and easy video tutorial.
This video was created for VTScada version 11.2 in 2016-10.

Is the latest version of VTscada, 11.2. Siemens S7 driver compatible with the S7-1200 and S7-1500 PLCs?
The driver list pdf on the website did not specifically list those models and I was curious.
Thanks,

From a customer: Can multi-monitor layouts be configured separately for different users?
From a customer: How easy is it to find specific tag types when creating tags?
As of 2017-02-10, only the following tag types count against your license:
AnalogControl
AnalogInput
AnalogOutput
AnalogStatus
DigitalControl
DigitalInput
DigitalOutput
DigitalStatus
Pump
RateOfChangeTag
SelectorSwitch
StringIO
The licensed tag count is the sum of all licensed tags in running VTScada applications.

Is historical data logging enabled by default?
Question from a customer: I wanted to double check on this configuration for the type of application that the software will be placed into.
The City will have a VTScada installation at their WWTP, and the WTP. The sites are about 2 miles apart and will only be connected through the Internet. We were planning to have two separate applications installed at each site, but allow the WTP staff t
